Self-determined in old age

Description

The research and interviews conducted by WIR magazine on the subject of self-determination in old age describe the realities of life and self-determination of old people with disabilities. At a time when old people with and without disabilities are among the risk groups, their social participation is hardly possible. In the current issue we portray, among others, six elderly people who have been using various services of the Fürst Donnersmarck Foundation for decades. They talk about their lives and what it is like for them to be old. Andi Weiland from gesellschaftsbilder.de portrayed them for us.To the first publication of the pictures in WIR magazine: www.fdst.de/wirmagazin
