"The Salon Capable" with Leidmedien.de

Description

Migrants with headscarves, people "tied" to wheelchairs and articles about "gender reassignment" and "gay parades"; there are many clichéd forms of representation for these so-called marginalized groups. At the salon evening organized by Leidmedien.de, the New German Media Makers and the LSVD Bundesverband, journalists* were invited to discuss language and images in the media, to laugh together and to become sensitized. The evening was moderated by Lilian Masuhr and Judyta Smykowski from Leidmedien.de Guest was the author, poetry slammer and podcaster Ninia LaGrande ++ on 01.03.2018 in Berlin (Berlin). ++
